Walsh Whiskey have been in touch today to tell us that they have just released a very limited edition of their celebrated 작가 '눈물 – 구리 냄비 위스키. 이 희귀 한, 아직 싱글 냄비와 싱글 몰트 위스키의 슈퍼 프리미엄 혼합 한 해에 대한 끝났다 5 마르 살라 와인 시실리에서 플로리오 와이너리에서 '큰 통'통. This will be the thirteenth expression from the Walsh Whiskey Stable of The Irishman and Writers Tears Irish Whiskey Brands.
Copper Pot is the working name given by Walsh Whiskey to Writers Tears expressions from the signature Walsh Whiskey “Champagne Blend of Single Malt and Single Pot Still Irish Whiskeys.
This is the second time that Walsh Whiskey has finished whiskeys in Marsala casks from Florio. 에서 2017 the company released limited Marsala finish editions of two its’ whiskeys in 아일랜드 인 range – Founder’s Reserve (from 9 hogshead casks) 과 12 Year Single Malt (from a single hogshead cask).

We have balanced out the natural sweetness with a 5% stronger alcohol content of 45% ABV. I hope people will enjoy it as much as I do.”
Hogshead casks are approximately 20% larger than the standard whiskey cask size. With evaporation accounting for the ‘Angel’s Share’, just 2,430 bottles of Writers’ Tears Copper Pot Marsala Cask Finish were yielded after 12 months finishing in the hogshead casks.
Four of the five casks have already been assigned with Australia (cask no: 3145), 더블린 공항 (cask no: 3147), the Celtic Whiskey Shop in central Dublin (cask no: 3149) and cask no: 3148 assigned for general release in Ireland.
This triple-distilled, 비 자연 냉각 여과, non-peated whiskey is bottled at an ABV of 45%, which is 5% stronger than 작가 '눈물 – 구리 냄비 is usually bottled at.
